Pastor LEROY ROSE, III was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the son of Deacon Leroy Rose, Jr. and the late Sheila Rose, who molded and shaped the Christian character ever present and deeply rooted in his life today.
Pastor Rose was educated, and served as a high school math teacher, in the Baltimore City Public School System. He is a Cum Laude graduate of Virginia Union University with a degree in Mathematics. Pastor Rose matriculated at the Johns Hopkins University, earning credits towards a Master’s of Art in Teaching. In May of 2006, Pastor Rose received a Master’s of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union.
Pastor Rose is the Senior Pastor of The New Covenant Baptist Church of Orlando, where he previously served as Youth Pastor for six years under the leadership of retired founder – Dr. Randolph Bracy, Jr. Pastor Rose began preaching at the age of sixteen and was ordained to the gospel ministry in August 1999. For five years, he served the Calvary Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD as Minister of the Young Adult Ministry, under the leadership of Dr. Haywood A. Robinson, III.
With a strong sense of integrity, he has a passion for the people of God & seeing this generation reach their fullest potential. It is this passion that has allowed Pastor Rose to preach & serve as workshop/seminar facilitator at various churches and conferences in several states and the country of Haiti.
Fifteen years ago, March 1997, Pastor Rose married his high school sweetheart, the former Nordia P. Wiggins, and they are the proud parents of five beautiful children – Jasmine, Jeremiah, Janae, Joy, and Jaya.
Preacher, teacher, husband, father, friend, counselor, God’s man – Pastor Rose continues to be an instrument whereby unsaved souls will be led to Christ and the channel through which those who know Christ will find a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Him.
